  • Location data (via the Namola app, for emergency dispatch only)
  • Device identifiers (app store subscriptions)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provisioning and managing your subscription
  • Processing payments via PayFast, Apple App Store, or Google Play
  • Dispatching emergency responders to your location
  • Sending transactional emails (receipts, payment reminders)
  • Marketing communications (only with your explicit opt-in)

4. Data Storage and Security

Your subscription data is stored in a dedicated database hosted in the af-south-1 (Cape Town) AWS region for POPIA data residency compliance. We implement industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.

Payment card details are never stored by Namola. All card processing is handled by PayFast, which is PCI-DSS compliant.

5. Your Rights (POPIA)
